This weekend and accompanying emotions

I just got back from watching PS I Love You, and so I am a bundle of emotions, but I wanted to give anyone out there listening an overview of my weekend. I was privileged to attend a seminar given by Mike Colon and Bob Davis on photography in general and wedding photography in particular. These guys are awesome. They do things for Time, Oprah, Mel Gibson, and remember Eva Longoria's wedding? Yup. The thing I liked best was their teaching style. Really chill and down to earth. Really good for people like me who struggle with techno crap. (o: I took 10 pages of notes. Mike's website/blog is linked on my page. Check him out. It was so worth the money, and so worth the time. It was a 4 hour drive to Baltimore and I almost didn't go. I feel God leading me step by step on this path, and each little blessing confirms that I am doing what I am supposed to be doing. I hope that I can apply what I learned and master the craft. (o;


On a seperate note, also spent time with Larissa(Ryan's sis) and Frank and their baby Abby. I practiced a little on Abby when I got back from the seminar. (o: enjoy some fruits of my labor.






Ryan is gone to Argentina for 12 loooonngg days. I hate seperation, but it reminds me how much I love and need him when he is gone. I have been showered by grace in my marriage and my love.

West Manor

I have a meeting with one of the biggest wedding venues in our area today for lunch. I am meeting with the owner, manager, and all of their employees. 7 people total. And I am bringing them all lunch. (still trying to figure out the catering) I am scared. I have just started my photography business and I don't have 20 different weddings to show them. I hope that what I have is sufficient, and I hope that my case of nerves isn't obvious today. I go back and forth, up and down, with this confidence thing.

But I am grateful for the opportunity and I need prayer.
